The #1 challenge I want to tackle in my city is... the gap between residents and decision-makers in urban planning. Too many communities, especially Arab neighborhoods in Jaffa and beyond, feel excluded from shaping the spaces they live in. I want to bridge that gap by creating more transparent, participatory planning processes that reflect people’s real needs — not just policy goals. My vision is for every resident to understand, influence, and feel ownership over the future of their city.
