Young Leaders Programme

URban Future Young Leaders UFGC

About the programme

What it is

The Young Leaders Programme is a special programme track of the Urban Future Events, taking place annually during the conference days. It is directed at passionate urban changemakers of 30 years or younger that want to change the future of our cities for the better. Up to 50 Young Leaders are chosen to be part of it after successfully completing an online application process.

During the conference, Young Leaders have access to all “regular” conference sessions and workshops – plus exclusive programme and networking options specifically tailored to their needs. The aim of the programme is to get ambitious young CityChangers involved in the discussion about how our cities of the future should and will look like.

We’re creating exclusive programme options for you that will push you, inspire you, provide you with a head full of new perspectives, and a strong network to follow whatever career path you have chosen for yourself.

How to apply

Due to Covid-19 and the live event not taking place in 2020 and 2021, our batch of Young Leaders from the 2020 cohort are automatically offered a spot for the Young Leaders Programme at the Urban Future Conference in 2022 in Helsingborg, Sweden.

In addition, we’re looking for 15-20 additional Young Leaders to join the cohort. Now is the time to apply! It’s simple: answer three questions about yourself and your ambitions. Record a short 1-minute landscape format video, introducing yourself and what you imagine cities in the future to look like.

Sounds like a dream come true? You can apply for one of the limited spots here from December 6, 2021 to January 16, 2022.
