Aga Biedalak is a passionate changemaker dedicated to transforming the way we design and inhabit our cities. With a strong foundation in architecture and urban design, Aga channels her expertise into driving systemic change, always seeking projects that create a lasting, positive impact on our planet. For five years, she led research and innovation at Space&Matter, an Amsterdam-based studio known for pioneering sustainable urban solutions. There, she established the Research & Design LAB, shaping sustainability strategies for influential clients like the Municipality of Amsterdam, Dutch Embassies, Schiphol Group, and the European CLT Network. Now working as a freelance Sustainability Consultant and Project Lead, Aga collaborates with academic institutions to explore collective living models and innovative housing solutions. She also plays a key role on the Board of Trustees for the European Community Land Trust Network, advocating for equitable and sustainable land use. Passionate about designing socially and ecologically resilient communities, Aga blends nature-inspired solutions with a deep commitment to social and environmental justice. Whether leading research, shaping policy, or spearheading collaborative initiatives, she thrives at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and urban transformation.
