Winfried Hermann is Minister of Transport and a directly elected member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. This puts him in charge of matters concerning road engineering, public transport, and infrastructure for all forms of mobility: pedestrian, road, air, and even barges! His responsibilities also include noise and air pollution controls, and the protection of nature.
Until 2011, Winfried was the elected representative of Tübingen in the Bundestag. He has also held positions as transport policy spokesman, chairman of the Transport, Construction and Urban Development Committee, and as sports policy spokesman for the national Green Party.
