Expert Advisor Mobility at the city of Leuven | Belgium

Tim Asperges is an urban planner with more than 20 years of expertise in urban mobility. Since 2014 he has been working as an expert advisor for the city of Leuven and was one of the architects of the City’s ambitious mobility plan transforming Leuven into Belgium’s number one cycling city. Tim initiated several EU-projects focusing on new mobility services, data-collection, modelling, and citizens involvement. He is regarded as a bridge builder who sees the involvement of citizens and other urban actors as a critical success factor for transformation and innovation.
