Sarah-Jayne Williams is passionate about using data, technology, and partnerships to help shape a sustainable future for mobility and to reduce our impact on the planet. She looks back at 30+ years of experience as a leader in the consulting, automotive, and technology industries delivering business and sustainability impact. After 15 years in consulting, Sarah-Jayne founded and grew a new mobility subsidiary business for Ford of Europe, launching innovative products and services for drivers and cities, enabling people and goods to move in cities in a sustainable way. Today, Sarah-Jayne continues that mission in her role at Google, where she leads Partnerships for Google’s Geo products (Google Maps, Google Earth, Earth Engine and Environmental Insights Explorer) in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She works with cities and public and private sector partners to tackle the 12% of emissions that come from transportation by nudging more sustainable choices. Sarah-Jayne is also a non-executive director of Thatcham Research, a non-profit automotive risk intelligence organisation focused on safety, security, and sustainable repairs.
