Sandra Phlippen is actively engaged in the Netherlands’ current policy issues. As well as Chief Economist of Group Economics at ABN AMRO Bank, she is also Endowed Professor of Sustainable Banking at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. And, as an external advisor to the Council of State, Sandra also advises the Dutch government on national and European budgetary matters. Maybe this is what qualifies her to say: "Our children would rather see us frugal with climate than frugal with money."
