Rosemarie van Ham founded Inclusive Climate Action Rotterdam (ICAR) with a mission to advocate climate justice and equality. She is a strong defendant of all people having a right to a healthy life – particularly in times of climate change and extreme weather. By giving marginalised groups a stage, making ourselves vulnerable, and bringing the social and physical domain together, ICAR works on a sustainable and climate-just future for all Rotterdammers based on equality and inclusion. Rosemarie is used to create networks by bringing in different experiences and perspectives to translate them into inclusive climate policies. She intends to challenge the typical way we think about climate change and aims for a new spark in all of us to actively contribute to (climate) justice.
