As Managing Director at Graz Energy Agency, Robert Schmied is obviously most passionate about the energy and mobility transition making our cities and future sustainable. His work centres around designing and expanding the research and consulting activities for his company. Together with his team, Robert supports clients in the implementation of innovation projects in the field of sustainable mobility, energy, and building technologies. Through his current projects, he wants to improve the district heating systems by introducing a fossil free supply and design roadmaps to CO2 free liveable and sustainable cities. Moreover, Robert is working on the conversion of public transport to an electrified zero emission future. Looking at his background, he definitely provides the essential knowledge and experience: he accompanied the introduction of electromobility in Styria, Austria a decade ago.
