Martine Kildeby

Head of Strategic Partnerships at BLOXHUB | Denmark

Martine Kildeby is responsible for activating cross-sector global partnerships and cross-border collaborations at BLOXHUB – the Nordic Hub for Sustainable Urbanisation. Representing 380 organisations, all working to create our future cities, Martine frames the bigger picture: how competencies and solutions come together to solve the urban challenges that define our time. Based on experience, Martine believes that challenges linked to global urbanisation and climate change require new ways of collaborating – including across borders. Hence, she activates ways for a key knowledge and innovation to make actual impact with holistic and sustainable projects by leading the exchange of this information across spearhead communities, and by supporting business and sustainable change in cities and organisations worldwide. With a background as Environmental Engineer and experience in the private and public sectors, Martine has thorough insights into the challenges we face and the solutions aiming to create a more sustainable future. She has previously headed implementation projects at the Danish Energy Agency, led high-level stakeholder involvement processes, and enhanced cross-border collaboration, from Munich, for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
