Mario Raimondi

Academy director at Humankind / Co-founder of El Desafío | The Netherlands

Mario Raimondi is the Academy director of the Dutch urban change agency Humankind, helping governments and citizens to create cities that are kind to ourselves, others, and the planet. He is also the co-founder of El Desafío Foundation, situated in Rosario, Argentina. El Desafío focuses on youth development and citizen participation through art, urban planning, social innovation, sports, and creativity. Mario has been changing cities for the better for more than 15 years, in both in the for- and non-profit sectors. A highlight of his work is the Ciudades Felices festival, which takes place annually in Rosario. It brings together citizens, organisations, students, professionals, and governments to connect and create happy cities for everyone.
