Kathrin Obernhumer is an innovation scout and project curator working at the intersection of technology, social innovation and art. She is passionate about transdisciplinary collaboration and creating environments where art and science come together to shape new, inclusive ways of working and living. Her path has taken her through the Ars Electronica Festival, Futurelab and the Muncipality of Linz, where she led the Department of Innovation, Economy and EU, making innovation accessible and tangible for citizens by involving individuals, communities, creatives and institutions alike in shaping the city's present and future.
Since mid-2023, she has been shaping Community, Culture & Innovation at Tabakfabrik Linz and specializes in building vibrant, collaborative environments that serve as a breeding ground for innovation. Kathrin's work contributes to setting global standards for urban resilience and demonstrates how forward-thinking policies can foster prosperous, inclusive and sustainable communities.
