Kaitlyn Dietz
Clean Construction Finance Manager at C40 | Spain
Supporting city policymakers to leverage public procurement, planning, and permitting, economic incentives and their convening power to deliver projects and policies that provide social and environmental value at the cutting edge of low-carbon construction – this is how one could describe Kaitlyn Dietz’s job. In other words: She facilitates opportunities for cities to learn from and with their local construction industry ecosystems about how business-as-usual can be transformed into clean construction; and how to turn business models around, so that investments, transition risks, and the multiple benefits are fairly shared between parties. Kaitlyn hopes that through her sharing the learnings and best practice from leading C40 cities through partnerships and advocacy, she can forge a common pathway for built environment decarbonisation that is both equitable and economically viable.
