Dr. Ines Omann’s research centres around the themes of sustainability transformation, quality of life, energy transitions, and climate change. She also works as a moderator and facilitator in transdisciplinary research projects, public participation processes, workshops, seminars, and conferences to form a bridge between research, policy, and society. In this way, she aims to transform knowledge into action.Ines has worked in sustainability science for 25 years with notable senior research positions at the Department of Environmental Politics at UFZ in Leipzig, Germany and the Institute for Ecological Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She holds a master’s in Environmental Systems Sciences and Economics and a PhD in Ecological Economics.
