Founder and Principal at Experimentalista | The NetherlandsGabriella Gómez-Mont believes that we need experimenting cities, as our urban futures are to be created and rehearsed. Political imagination is supposed to meet social creativity, adding to the repertoire of possibilities and urban DNA. In her recent project, Gabriella is exploring urban biodiversity and its relationship with topics such as housing or food security, evaluating the respective potentials and tensions in several cities worldwide. She rethinks urban imaginaries and new paradigms, and creates testing grounds for ideas. Gabriella works, but also inhabits, within the gaps: of geographies, disciplines, sectors, categories, and things.
