Eugénie Cartron is a transition-oriented and mission-driven transdisciplinary designer dedicated to the NetZeroCities European initiative. Her multifaceted journey across development economics, innovation management, public administration, systems thinking, social innovation design, and place-based design converges to support systems change and place-based innovation. She creates the strategies, frameworks, services, and systems in cities necessary to accelerate crucial mission-driven efforts towards achieving climate-neutrality. Eugénie’s work combines design practice, forward thinking in the political economy and on public services, systems theory, and a strategic vision. In the past, she has contributed to the development of a design-led framework for national green and social missions and has focused on systems of poverty and deprivation as well as sustainable and inclusive urban futures.
