Eleni Kanellou is a research associate and a PhD candidate in the Decision Support Systems Laboratory of the school of Electric and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. She is currently working in EU-funded research and innovation projects looking into mitigating climate change and accelerating the just energy transition. Eleni manages the POWERPOOR project, empowering energy-poor citizens through Joint Energy Initiatives. As an economist, she holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance and an MSc in Global Business and Sustainability.
