Dávid Vitézy

General Director of the Hungarian Museum of Science, Technology and Transport | Budapest | Hungary

Dávid Vitézy has been fascinated by public transportation since he was a little child and never really lost his interest. It has been a long way from his first steps as spokesman of an NGO in Budapest, where he fought against car-oriented city planning, to his position as General Director of the Hungarian Museum of Science, Technology and Transport, where he is currently turning a former railway yard into a busy cultural hub. Dávid is convinced that the future museum will be an open, high-quality urban space that deals with the past, contributes to the understanding of present urban dilemmas and further delivers important messages on urban liveability and sustainability for the future.
