Austrian by birth and now a firm fixture in Stuttgart, Dr. Christoph Soukup is a Business Economist by training, a passionate and proven change management expert, and host of the (mostly German-speaking) podcast #MüllistMist (“waste is rubbish"). As an agent of change, Christoph has more than 20 years of experience in the realm of international manufacturing, particularly in management responsibility. Christoph left the corporate world to start his own business. As Director of the Steinbeis Consulting Center Circular Economy, he works with enterprises to facilitate improvements in their sustainability without undermining profitability. Having founded the think- and do-tank materialkreislauf, Christoph has a broad focus on circularity and promotes ideas around closed loops in the context of a wider audience. One such idea was r:economy – a showcase for a smart circular economy, which launched in autumn 2021.
