Christian Hübel is Head of the Department Democracy & Strategy in the city of Mannheim, Chair of the Working Group Urban Agenda from Eurocities and member of the Executive Committee of the World Urban Campaign of UN-Habitat. He is an international expert in systematically localising the SDG's and has addressed the topic of localising international chartas, governance and performance management from different perspectives in publications and lectures. Christian was jointly responsible for the change² project for modernising urban administrative processes. In 2013, the city of Mannheim received the German Sustainability Award in the area of governance and administration for the sustainability of its governance system.
