A transformative 5.000 mile cycle journey moved Adam into journalism and then into social change communications in London. Having worked on a number of high-profile, national campaigns around cycling, it was a natural step to move to Amsterdam in 2016. Here he works as a communications and strategy director at BYCS.
BYCS works internationally to accelerate the adoption of cycling in cities with breakthrough ideas, like their Bicycle Mayor network. They do this because cycling is more than an accessible, clean mobility solution but it also improves mental and physical health, builds stronger communities, improves the environment and stimulates a more sustainable economy. They have a mission called 50by30: 50% of all city trips by bike by 2030.
