Social Media Intern, Graz, Fulltime (M/W/X)
About the Internship
This internship is your opportunity to join a highly passionate and rapidly growing team that’s making cities around the world better places and to gain exciting experience for your career. URBAN FUTURE is Europe’s largest event for making cities sustainable and virtual hub for a global community of change-makers.
About Urban Future
We do what we do because we want to make a difference and get more people into taking action. With our events, content and virtual activities we inspire potential change-makers around the world to drive transitions in their cities: they will promote cycling, introduce pedestrian zones, build zero-energy districts, decarbonize mobility, or work towards more social equality. Actually, thinking about all of this, we’re really proud of our work.
There are so many people interested in the content we have and share. And that’s our challenge: our social media channels are growing by the day and we have a curious community – so we need more hands on deck to get the word out to them.
Very much like all our team members you are highly passionate for the environment, set yourself ambitious goals and have the necessary skills and drive to reach them.
As a Social Media Intern you will work closely with our communications team in developing content for our social media channels.
You’ll be at home in Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, hunting for content to share, interact with our users and follow influencers. We’d love for you to create content yourself once you’ve found our fun tonality.
Clearly, you love communicating via social media and you are passionate for sustainability issues. You also enjoy writing and telling inspiring stories in English. Thorough education is important to you, so you already have completed or are currently working on your university degree in the fields of communications, urbanism, architecture, or environment. It will be important to be well organized, a good researcher and able to distil key information out of lengthy material. Skills in video and image editing would be a great asset.
The full-time internship (40 hrs/week) is based in Graz, Austria and we offer durations from 4 to 6 months. Non-EU citizens do require to hold a valid working permit. We do offer an internship remuneration for this position.
