The heartbeat of urban life. This track explores bold transformations, their ripple effects, and asks: is our obsession with city centers justified?

URBANISM

From pop-up to pilot to permanent – we’ll explore how tactical interventions are reshaping cities, the profession of urban planners, and their relationships with citizens. 

CIRCULARITY

We grew up in a take–use–throw-away economy, where profits are concentrated and the true costs are pushed onto others. But it won’t last. The circular economy is a break from waste and business as usual. This track helps you get started.

RESILIENT
SOCIETIES

Resilience is the 21st century’s guiding principle.

This track looks at how cities can evolve beyond old models to become adaptive, connected, and climate-ready societies built to thrive amid disruption.

INNOVATION IN
GOVERNANCE

Cities are no longer seen as just administrators – they’re active agents of change: people expect them to better their lives.

This track explores how municipalities reinvent systems, services, and roles to meet rising expectations and deliver better urban futures.

CHANGE
COMMUNICATIONS

Good comms inspire. Bad ones bore. Ugly ones distract. We’ll celebrate the best, roast the worst, and expose the rest.

This track looks at how communication shapes – or sabotages – sustainability in the age of bubbles, noise and AI.

Field Trips start on Tuesday and run throughout the week, with most of them being scheduled for Friday. Find all details here.
