Our first ever Urban Future Global Conference. We started out small and only kept growing since then!
A total of 1,014 City Changers from 250 cities, 43 countries, and four continents came together at the URBAN FUTURE Global Conference in Graz, Austria, on November 18-19, 2014, entering the heart of intelligent mobility, energy, communications, living, and city planning.
Devised as Europe’s largest congress for sustainable cities, the platform offered 43 sessions presented by 187 renowned speakers, such as Ken Livingstone, Former Mayor of London, UK, who delved into topics around government stream and smart resources.
With the support of a broad platform of dedicated media and networking partners, the first edition of the UFGC succeeded in reaching out to the international community. Likewise, it generated widespread media coverage on critical challenges and available solutions spearheading the future of our cities.
Through the forward-thinking of various partners who put sustainability on top of their agenda, like the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the City of Graz, each talk was realized in cooperation with content partners leading their respective fields.
Along these two days of networking and sharing of know-how, the event featured the latest technological solutions and sustainable projects to foster the interaction between companies, organizations, and universities.
