Julio Lumbreras orchestrates the implementation of the EU cities mission in Spain - mainly through capability building, development of economic cases, and fostering the creation of national mission infrastructures - to enhance cities’ capabilities to transform. Within Spain itself, Julio works to offer cities a diverse se of services to support a move towards climate neutrality. At Urban Future, he will talk about the need for cooperation between cities at the national level, how this can be achieved through national platforms, and his vision for radical collaboration among stakeholders as a means to transform cities.
