As CEO of Baden-Württemberg International (BW_i), Dr. Christian Herzog promotes the business academic, and research interests of Baden-Württemberg in the international arena.
Calling the region, the “No. 1 location for innovation in Europe”, Christian represents the interests of Germany’s southwest, supporting local companies, universities, and research institutes as they move abroad or to attract foreign investment – all with the aim of shaping a new perspective for the future.
Christian was formally responsible for strategy development in technology transfer, digitisation, and the support of start-ups and scale-ups as Head of Department Digital Economy at the Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and doctorate in cluster theories.
